Originally Aired: August 6, 1955 Innocent Broad: A Fiancé’s Secret and a Gunman’s Threat Seventeen-year-old Linda Bell arrives in Dodge to reunite with her fiancé Lou Paxton, only to find herself entangled in a dangerous scheme. Marshal Dillon intervenes when a drunken passenger named Bassett harasses her on the stagecoach ride, but the trouble doesn’t end there. As secrets unravel, it’s revealed that Paxton is hiding his past and planning a desperate robbery to pay off a vengeful former partner—Bassett. When the heist fails and both men meet violent ends, Matt is left to break the truth to Linda, who came west chasing love and found something far more sobering.
