Convinced Lum said something behind his back during a party line speech, Abner misinterprets an offhand comment about “the last shot” and prepares for a duel. Their argument spirals into a chaotic gun-grabbing scuffle, all while Dick Huddleston and the town try to keep the peace—and the Horlicks flashlight promotion rolling.
