Fog

Sailor Danny Price sets out with a gun to confront gambler Duke Moran over a debt on a night thick with fog. After tripping over a hydrant and briefly losing his memory, he wakes to find Moran murdered and the evidence pointing at him. A bait peddler tries to blackmail him by claiming to have seen the shooting, but Danny learns the fatal bullets came from a different calibre and that his friend Captain Fowler staged the evidence to drive him away and steal Danny’s fiancée. The captain flees, leaving a confession that clears Danny.
