In the Dark

Thomas Northcutt, a marine architect, is working long hours and suffering from severe headaches and eye problems. His physician, Dr. Elston, warns him to quit work or risk going blind. Northcutt plans a cruise with Dr. Elston, his wife Elizabeth, and others, but a series of misunderstandings and suspicions leads to a tragic accident and a revelation. In the end, Northcutt's own deceitful plan backfires, and he is left to face the consequences of his actions.
