Death Pays a Visit

A young married couple, the Crowleys, find themselves in a desperate situation after $10,000 is stolen from the bank. When a letter arrives from cousin Charlie with $10,000 in cash, they see it as a solution to their problems. They devise a plan to have Charlie appear to commit suicide, but their attempts are repeatedly thwarted. In the end, the couple's desperation leads to a tragic and unexpected conclusion, leaving them with unforeseen consequences.
