The Man Who Came to Murder

In this episode, the Whistler tells the story of Wendell Robinson, a man who is eagerly awaiting the death of his wealthy and bedridden aunt, Ellen Hargrove. However, when the doctor unexpectedly informs him that Ellen will live a long life, Wendell panics and realizes that his theft and fraudulent activities will be discovered when Ellen checks her bank statements that night. Desperate to secure his inheritance, Wendell hatches a plan to cause Ellen's immediate demise. However, his evening takes an unexpected turn when an unforeseen event occurs, leading to a chain of shocking revelations and a twisted ending.
