Blind Bet

In this episode of The Whistler, Tom Brayton, a patient and calculating gambler, plots to obtain all the money from his partner, John Warren, and business associate, Hazel Symington. After Warren's death is made to look like an accidental gas leak, Brayton believes he has secured the half-million dollar note. However, when Symington changes her mind about the note and plans to tear it up, Brayton's desperate actions lead to suspicion and arrest when Symington's affidavit reveals that she witnessed him turning on the gas in Warren's cabana. The episode is filled with intrigue, manipulation, and a web of deceit that ultimately unravels for Brayton.
