Bridge on Black Mountain

Delbert, assistant to the curator of the Prescott Museum, daydreams of a better life with Miss Francis. When Mr. Gorman from the National Historical Institute visits, Delbert discovers discrepancies in museum expenses. Fearing dismissal, Delbert learns from Dr. Prescott that he's no longer curator. In a panic, Delbert resolves to manipulate the situation and frames Frank Spiegel for theft. Delbert's plan unravels as Dr. Prescott confronts him. Ultimately, a fatal accident at the bridge on Black Mountain reveals Delbert's deceit, leading to a tense realization of the consequences.
