Man on the Roof

In this episode of The Whistler, Eddie Welch, a young man who directs the parking lot from the roof of Crandall's department store, becomes entangled in a web of mystery and deceit when he witnesses a struggle between two men. After a city detective is killed, Eddie finds himself in a dangerous game of blackmail and deception, only to discover that the man he's been blackmailing is actually an undercover police lieutenant. Eddie's plans unravel as he realizes that the tables have turned, leading to a surprising and perilous revelation about the identity of the man he thought he was blackmailing.
