Perfect Alibi

Private investigator Johnny Seltzer meets Alice Collins, niece of lumber millionaire Charles Collins, at a cocktail lounge and is offered a lucrative deal. He is tempted by the money and the opportunity to marry Alice, especially as he uncovers suspicious activities involving Alice and a gambler named Frankie Benson. However, as he sets up a plan to frame Frankie Benson for murder and secure his own fortune, he finds himself accused of Alice's murder and caught in a web of deceit and betrayal.
