Incident at Pebble Cove

At Pebble Cove, successful author John Gaylord encounters his past when Peggy Benton, a former acquaintance, blackmails him with the diary of his late fiancée, Helen Walters. Determined to retrieve the diary, John resorts to force. When Peggy is found dead, John attempts to clear his tracks, but constable Steve becomes suspicious after finding the incriminating diary in John's possession. The events lead to a suspenseful and unexpected turn of events.
