Chinese Elephant Puzzle

In this episode of The Whistler, Elliot Wilson, an art importer, encounters a series of unexpected events after arranging the smuggling of diamonds inside a Chinese elephant puzzle from Singapore to San Francisco. His plans are disrupted when he learns that the intended recipient, Jim Craig, has died before receiving the puzzle. In a desperate attempt to reclaim the diamonds, Elliot pursues various leads, ultimately finding himself entangled in a murder investigation. As the police close in on him, Elliot's deceit and criminal actions come back to haunt him, leading to a dramatic confrontation with the authorities.
