Whirlwind

Lionel James, a columnist, leads a double life of nighttime activities while his wife, Edith, recuperates at home. He becomes involved with an aspiring singer, Shelly, and her husband, Jim. When his professional and personal lives collide, Lionel takes drastic measures to eliminate the problem, only to be thwarted by an unexpected intervention.
