Man in the Way

Private detective Max Tyler takes on a case from Mrs. Townsend to investigate her husband's infidelity. However, things take a turn when Max finds himself entangled in a web of deception, jealousy, and murder. As the case unfolds, Max becomes a prime suspect in the investigation, leading to a tense confrontation with Lieutenant Carter of Homicide. The truth, as well as Max's involvement, becomes increasingly uncertain as the case takes a series of unexpected twists and turns, ultimately revealing the complexities of human nature and the consequences of one's actions.
