Gentlemen from Oxford

Hugo Hayden, a returning Oxford University student, struggles to find success in the business world and turns to writing a novel. When his novel is rejected, he encounters Babs, a mysterious singer, and gets involved in a dangerous love triangle with her and the powerful gangster, Bert Morgan. Desperate for success and stability, Hugo concocts a plan to eliminate Bert but is ultimately confronted by the police for murder.
