Stolen Letter

Ambitious actress Susan Hayes receives a letter from her ailing uncle inviting her to visit him and learn more about her inheritance. Upon arrival, she is met with suspicion and hostility from her cousin and uncle's secretary. Soon, her uncle dies under suspicious circumstances, and Susan becomes the prime suspect. Fearing for her life and career, Susan disappears and transforms into a successful actress in New York. However, her past catches up with her when her uncle's secretary, Patricia Meadows, resurfaces and threatens to expose her true identity. A dramatic turn of events leads to a life-threatening situation, but ultimately, the truth about Susan's innocence is revealed.
