Accident-According to Plans

In this episode, Tom Reddick is consumed by jealousy when his co-worker, Charles Fremont, is promoted above him. Desperate to regain his job, Tom devises a plan to kill Charles and make it look like an accident. After a few drinks with Charles, Tom offers to drive him home and plans to stage the accident at a railroad crossing. Things take an unexpected turn when the car they are in collides with a train, killing Charles. Tom then faces suspicions from his wife and encounters two men who saw him on the bus and confront him about the accident. Ultimately, the tables turn on Tom when it is revealed that Charles died of a heart attack before the accident, and the episode ends with Tom taking his own life.
