Blue Alibi

John Sheridan, a city official, finds himself entangled in a web of political corruption with Frank Devon. When his wife, Edith, discovers his illegal activities, she gives him an ultimatum. In a desperate bid to maintain his connections with Devon, Sheridan hatches a plan to silence his wife. However, his scheme unravels when the police chief uncovers evidence that incriminates Sheridan. In the end, Sheridan's attempt to claim an alibi using his clay modeling hobby leads to his own downfall as the evidence of blue clay on his wife's body exposes his role in her death.
