The Return

In this episode of The Whistler, Dr. Sheridan rushes to attend to Ellen Denton, who attempted suicide due to her husband's disappearance. When private investigator Fred Nathan claims to have a lead on her missing husband, Ellen suspects foul play. She follows Nathan to Ferrisville and witnesses his accidental death at the train station. However, a clever plan orchestrated by Charles and Nathan to deceive Ellen and give her false hope for her husband's return is revealed, leaving her shocked by the deceit and tragedy.
