Letters from Aaron Burr

Ernie Madden, a former convict, is released from prison, and his fellow inmate, Pop Wiley, encourages him to visit an old woman named Mrs. Alden. However, Ernie's plans are disrupted when he encounters a woman named Louise Fenton, who manipulates him into participating in a scheme involving a forged letter from Aaron Burr. Ernie eventually becomes embroiled in a complicated plot that leads to the discovery of a genuine Aaron Burr letter, culminating in a confrontation with the police and the unraveling of the elaborate deception.
