Episode Description

A scientist named George Martin has developed a growth ray that enlarges insects for research purposes. As he prepares to leave for a meeting regarding a university appointment, his wife, Betty, expresses fear and disgust about the insects in their home laboratory. When George leaves, a delivery boy named Bill shows interest in the insects, leading to an incident where a giant moth, created by the growth ray, causes chaos. While trapped in the lab with Bill, Betty panics as the moth and another large spider come dangerously close, leading to a series of tense moments, including a failed attempt to escape through the window. Meanwhile, George attends his meeting, only to become worried when he can’t reach Betty by phone. After returning home, he discovers that despite the insects' size, the moth poses no real threat, as it cannot harm them due to its harmless nature. In the end, George reassures Betty that the drama was unnecessary, demonstrating the unexpected consequences of scientific experimentation.
