Space Wreck

The story unfolds aboard the luxury space liner Golden Star in the year 2370, where passengers prepare for an interstellar cruise. Tensions rise when Whitey Fuller, an aggressive reporter, insists on covering the voyage despite initially being barred from the trip. As the ship takes off, excitement turns to panic when a meteor strikes, disabling the ship and leaving only a small compartment intact with a handful of survivors, including Captain North, Dr. Lindstrom, and the young boy, Jimmy. Stranded in space, they grapple with dwindling resources and despair while realizing they might never be rescued. Dr. Lindstrom suspects they are off-course due to a celestial event, leading them to face their mortality. Just when hope seems lost, a patrol ship located them after tracking an astronomical anomaly that threw them from their original path. The survivors are ultimately rescued, highlighting themes of resilience and the unpredictability of space travel.
