Worlds Apart

Commander Dijkstra reports to his defense units about an unidentified spacecraft approaching Mars, while on board the spaceship Phoenix, young engineer Jim Granger convinces Captain Roberts to select him for a flight to Neptune. During the journey, the crew encounters a mysterious force that disrupts their navigation, leading them into a difficult situation involving an uncharted comet. After sustaining injuries and losing passengers, they manage to contact Earth for help, only to discover they have landed on a planet named Vesta, which closely resembles Earth. They learn from Commander Dijkstra that Vesta has developed in parallel with Earth due to similar environmental conditions. After being detained for security reasons, the crew seeks to understand their new environment while trying to plan their return to Earth, culminating in revelations about their proximity to danger and the importance of interplanetary relations.
