Episode Description

A scientist, Dr. Ellsworth, conducts illegal experiments to create superhumans by injecting a man named Barstow with a serum that drastically increases his size and intelligence. Initially, the experiment appears successful as Barstow grows to thirty feet tall and demonstrates extraordinary physical abilities. However, as he gains immense size, he grapples with a loss of autonomy and begins to feel more isolated. Meanwhile, tensions rise among the scientists, particularly as they contemplate the ethics of their actions and the potential for creating a race of giants to dominate humanity. Eventually, Barstow realizes he was deceived into becoming the experiment's subject and seeks to expose Ellsworth's true intentions, leading to a confrontation that results in Ellsworth’s death at the hands of genetically enhanced rats. After the chaos, Barstow shrinks back to his original size, reflecting on the true nature of greatness and the importance of being humane rather than merely powerful.
