A Kitten for Mr Katz

Cannon receives an assignment from Mr. Katz, a theatrical agent, to care for a "kitten" arriving on a train, which he initially believes to be an actual pet. When he meets the supposed kitten, he discovers that it is actually a beautiful French actress, Marie Lavour, instead. Cannon takes her to lunch, and they strike up a rapport, with Cannon offering her a place to stay since she had no luggage. Meanwhile, it becomes clear that Katz is not being truthful about his whereabouts. After discovering Katz's true nature and that he is involved in drug trafficking, Cannon confronts Katz and realizes the risks involved in his deception. A chaotic encounter ensues as Cannon tries to protect Marie from Katz, leading to revelations about Katz's criminal activities and intentions.
