A Bag of Coal for Mr Lazenby

Mr. Lesenby seeks assistance from Aubrey Mason at Assignments Unlimited to transport coal for his engineering firm in Cumberland, citing a series of accidents that he believes are attempts to sabotage his transport operations. Mason assigns driver Cannon to the task, which involves navigating a treacherous road to deliver coal essential for the factory’s operation and production of a revolutionary plastic material. Upon arrival, Cannon learns that Lesenby’s factory suffers from repeated transport failures, and suspicion arises about the local haulage company led by a woman named Miss Masters. After a series of investigative encounters with Miss Masters, Cannon discovers that Lesenby himself is sabotaging his own vehicles to avoid fulfilling his contract with Delta Aircraft, which has offered a better deal. Cannon confronts Lesenby while he attempts to cut the brake lines of his own truck to create an excuse for non-delivery, leading to Lesenby's arrest and resolution of the transport issues.
